Implicit Career Search

Implicit Career Search

ICS: the key to finding meaning in your work

Implicit Career Search® (in French, Recherche de Carrière Implicite) is an innovative method designed to help people clearly define the purpose of their work and guide them towards a successful, fulfilling working life. Stemming from The Human Element® approach, ICS aims to build a meaningful career plan that deeply resonates with each person's identity.

Unlike many classic approaches that focus on skills and interests, ICS takes a more introspective path. It starts from the fundamental question: "Who am I, really?". The process helps explore your behavioural preferences, understand your defence mechanisms and identify your fears. Reconnecting with their essence, participants discover what truly motivates them and what drives them deeply.

Potential revealed

Develop your potential with Implicit Career Search

The goal of ICS is to help everyone clarify their vision of life and consider how to contribute to the world through their unique essence. Once this understanding is gained, it becomes possible to translate this essence into a career plan and concrete professional goals. This means reflecting on the skills already acquired and those worth acquiring to carry out the plan. In short, Implicit Career Search® means starting from who you are to define what you do.

No prerequisites are required for this training, making the process accessible to all. A sincere willingness to get personally involved is, however, essential to get the most out of it.

What's more, the ICS skills assessment can be funded through your Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF), whether you choose a group seminar or individual support.

The group seminar: benefit from the power of the group

The Implicit Career Search® group seminar focuses on rediscovering yourself and building a meaningful career plan.

In a world where many people lack direction and look for meaning in their careers, this seminar meets a crucial need. By bringing together a small group of participants, it fosters rich exchanges and lets everyone benefit from others' experiences and perspectives. This creates a collaborative dynamic that stimulates creativity and commitment, making the discovery process more impactful than individual sessions.

Practical details

  • Duration: 4-day seminar (24 hours), split into two 2-day sessions.
  • Follow-up: 4 hours of individual follow-up to support putting the plans into practice.
  • Project presentation: 4 hours in which each participant presents their career plan to the group, with constructive feedback.
  • Group size: 3 to 8 participants for optimal interaction.
  • Format: preferably on site, but can be adapted to remote if necessary.
  • Goal: help each participant define a career plan that resonates with their deep identity and aspirations.

Develop an authentic career plan

The Implicit Career Search® individual seminar offers personalised support, letting each participant dive deep into self-understanding. Through a 24-hour programme, participants explore their essence, their preferences and their unique contribution to the working world. This introspective process is essential to build an authentic career plan aligned with personal values. While this seminar is designed to meet individual needs specifically, the absence of group exchanges may limit the variety of perspectives and feedback, a drawback compared with group seminars.

Practical details

  • Duration: 24 hours of individual support
  • Format: on site or remote, as the participant prefers.
  • Support: personalised to meet each individual's specific needs.
  • Goal: help you know yourself better, understand your unique contribution and build a coherent career plan and action plan.
